V.R.C. INCREASED STAKES
Melbourne, April 7. The Victoria Racing Club is substituting for (ho Coburg Stakes the Cantnla Handicap, carrying J3OOO iu stakes. The Sires' Produce Stakes for 1921 has been increased to .£2OOO, and the stakes for the Grand National meeting in 1919 are increased by .£IBSO. The principal increases are the National Steeplechase to .£2OOO and the National Hurdle lfacc to 41500. The stakes for , the Birthday meeting are increased by .£7ooo.—Press Assn.
