BOILERMAKER'S WIDOW AWARDED • By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, April i. At the Arbitration. Court to-day Margaret'Sanson claimed .£SOO from Stovonson and Cook, of Port Chalmers, as compensation for the death of her husbaud. Deceased was employed repairing a boiler on the trawler Waitangi, and at about G. 15 p.m. on May 18 of last year he roll into the sea and was drowned. The case for plaintiff was that deceased was returning to work when the accident happened, but tho defence contended that he had finished his work at .1 p.m., and the accident did not occur during tho course of omployincnt. Tho Court awarded plaintiff .£SOO, with costs.
