REACTION ON THE ARMY
N.Z.E.F. LEAVE STOPPED
(Special Dispatch from the New Zealand Official War Correspondent.) London, March 22. To-day wo received iho unwelcome news that owing to probable strikes all leave, and also all on personal duty proceeding to England, had been stopped. All ranks were informed that it was still hoped to get our last draft away to ftouon on March 25, but uncertainly prevails.

Bridgeman, Parliamentary Under-Secretory, announced in the House of Commons that there were 1J.'',327 miners on strike on Saturday, but they havo now resumed work—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. NOTTINGHAM MINERS' STRIKE ENDED. (Rec. April 1, 7.15 p.m.) London, March 31. The Nottingham miners' strike has ended, on the basis of substantial increases of pay—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
