SOUTH AFRICA ENTEBS FOE DAVIS CUP. London, March 24. South Africa has entered a lato challenge for the Davis Cup. The delay was dno to war difficulties and cable delays, and South Africa asks if it is possible for a new draw to be made—Renter. UNITED STATES AND THE DAVIS CUP. (Rec, March 31, 5.5 p.m.) New York, March 22. Messrs. Braddon (Australian Commissioner to the .United States) and A. W. Dunlop (member of Australia's previous representative team) had a conference with tho Executive Committee of the United States National Lawn Tennis Association concerning the possible entry of tho United States contenders for the Davis Cup.
