EGYPTIAN CRISIS OVER
Cairo, March 30. The rebels attacked a train from Luxor oil March 15, and murdered seven British officers. The todies were discovered in the guard's van. The British defeated the Bedouins at Fayum, inflicting WO casualties.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SHARP AND EFFECTIVE MEASURES. (Reo. April 1, 0.05 a.m.) Cairo, March. 30. Order is being restored rapidly throughout the country, and no further disturbances have been reported. General Huddlestone's punitivo column is remaining at Assiut to restore order in that neighbourhood. Mobile oolumns on the Delta are moving rapidly, arresting a large number of offender's, with whom they are dealing on the spot. ' General Shea is moving southward from Wasta and restoring order—Renter.
