A German wireless messago 6tates that the Entente Powers have rejected Germany's counter-proposals regarding Danzig, but dispatches indicate that Germany and tho Entente Powers realise the dangers of Bolshevism, and a rupture may possibly be avoided if German national interests aro not prejudiced owing to the landing of .troops—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. PERPLEXING SITUATION. (Rec. March 31, 10.15 p.m.) Paris, March 30. The Eastern situation is still perplexing. Tho Germans have rejected the demand for tho landing of General Holler's troops at Dauzig, ajul put forward the alternative that they might land at Stettin, Momel, Libftu, and Jtonigsberg. It i? reported that tho Council of Four accepted Marshal Focli's advice,to servo a sharp notico on the German Government. The latter consulted all tho political parties at Weimar, who indicated that they were resolved, whatever the consequences, to oppose tho landing nt Dan-zig—Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Demonstrators in front of tho hotel where tho Entente Mission is staying shouted, "Down with England!" ; Herr Erzberger, addressing a big mooting at Berlin, declared that Germany must sign tho treaty involving tho annexation of Danzig, West Prussia, and part of Silesia.
