Wind conditions favoured .the Rpna -in the- first-class, event, .which overtook- the limit yacht Atalanta,.and finished'easily first. The following-were the finishing times:—Rona- (9min.), 4hr. 58min. 23sec., 1; Ailsa (9min.), shr. 2min., 2; Atnlanta (18niin.)i shr. smin. lOsec., 3; and Kotiri II (smin.),- shr.. .7min. 20s?.c. The Wai-', tangi (scr.), Wanderer (lOmin.), and: Viola (l-lmin.), did'not Start. The second class event was captured by tho Wnivere 1, which finished Wely a minute, ahead of-tlie Venuß, whom she was allowing seven minutes. - The' finishing times were:-Wnirevo I (2min.),4hr.'- 58min. 47sec., 1; Venus (9min.), 4hr.' 59min. -tOs'ec., '2; lolanthe'(9min.), -sh'r.
