BOXING

A CAMP TOURN'AMENT. The first of a series of boxing competitions for the Senior Cadets and / Territorial n.c.o.'s, under instruction in Trent'kmi nCnip, was held on Thursday evening. Competitions were held in,five .weights! and confined to ■ novices, the object being to get at Hie mass instead of catering for the few with an expert knowledge of the game. The number of entries wns good, nearly 50.per cent, of the eligibles taking part. The competitions generally were well contested. Gold-centred medals wore handed to the winners.
