The masking regulation applies to all public conveyances, but there will be no embargo upon outdoor sports, churches, and theatres. A further regulation which is being issued prohibits persons remaining for more than five minutes in hotel bars. The financial loss to tho Agricultural Socicty by the abandonment of the show will amount to ,£20,000.— Press Assn. EXCELLENT -RESULTS FROM NEW TREATMENT. (Rec. March 27, 8.55 p.m.) Sydney, March 27. Dr. Reid, chief quarantine officer, has officially notified Cabinet that excellent results" have been achieved among the influenza patients at North Head, following a treatment of 15 gram doses of calcium lactate every four hours, and vaceino containing 125 million influenza baccilli and 80 million pneumococci. No deaths occurred last week, and 230 cases were treated.—Press Assn.
