The Wairaiapa supplementary electoral roll contains 209!) n,'lines. lioiiter the largest yet issued. The 191-1 supplementary roll conlained 12SJ names. including the main and supplementary rolls, the total- now aggregates 7692, as against 7090 in 191-1. Howard Booth has consented to nomination for the Mayoralty of Carterton. , At the meeting of Ihe Wnirarapa "Racing Club's stewards, held en Wednesday, it was decided to apply-for the old holiday dates to be reinstated for the next ;racing reason. The riuestion of reinstating n publican's booth at the race meetings wa.s discussed, and r. motion was carried reaffirming the present arrangement.
