EARLY SETTLEMENT HOPED FOR. . By Telegraph-Press Association."' Auckland, March 26. The Waihi dispute has been brought appreciably nearer settlement by the suggestion of the Waihi Company that the union place the names of the exempted miners, about whom the trouble arose, on the roll of; the union .without tho men themselves making application, the company agreeing to pay all the union fees and levies of the men concerned. A telegram ; has been received from the union indicating that the officials are prepared to reoommend the suggestion for adoption by the union members.
