Official.—The question of securing an ii'crense in the number of insulated ships for New Zealand has been urged vigorously during the past months by Mr. Mnssey, who, in addition to consulting the Shipping Controller and communicating with the Imperial authorities, has by several interviews .in the "Times" of London drawn pointed attention to the Dominion's shipping needs. Mr. Massey lias noiy been advised by the Shipping Controller that three additional steamers had been assigned to New Zealand for the April loading;—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
