SPOILT BANANAS
TALUNE'S CARGO DAMAGED. By Telegraph—l'rcßß Association. Auckland, March 24. An auctioneer states that more than one-third of the cargo of bannnas by the Talune, comprising 16,000 cases and 3000 bunches, is useless, as the result of being cooked while tlm vessel was in quarantine in Auckland Harbour. Permission to land ths fruit before the'quarantine expired was asked for and refused.
