TIIOENDON CLUB. The aimual meeting of tho Thorndon Club was held liist. evening, Mr. 13. L. Salmon presiding. lAbout twenty-five membcr.s were present. The. annual report, adopted on tho chairman's motion, showed Unit teams were entered for ■fourth, fifth, and sixth division competitions, with very satisfactory results, lor while 110 trophy was actually won all the teams finished high up in tho competitions. Special mention was made in tho report of the efforts of the various sports bodies to have tho uso of tho various city reserves placed on a better footing, anrt it was suggested that tho time was now opportune to make further additions to Anderson Park. Several new members wero elected. Tho election of officers resulted ns follows—President, Mr. B. L. Salmon; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Williams, 11. J. Buck, G. Roberts, It,' Ilendry, L. White, 11. L. Godber, and R. H. Davenport; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. Stanton; delegate to Wellington Football Association, Mr. H. J. Buck.
