The final for the Manawatu,' Bowling Centre's champion of champion pairs was played off yesterday afternoon between i'argher and Roach (s.), of Shannon, and .Tones and Lanrenson (s.), of. the Manawatu Club, Palmerston. Mr. B. A. Hanson,, Mayor of Danuevirke,'does not intend to seek re-election. He is also resigning from the Fire Board.
