■ RECEPTIONS TO. RETURNING , DRAFTS. In connection with the part played by the I'. and T. girls in tho reception to tho men who arrived ;by. the Hororata, the following letter was received by tho secretary (Mr. A. Cnrtayiie) of tho local Returned Soldiers' Association, from Miss Ethel M. Black, a few days, prior to the arrival of tho vessel :— "The Post and Telegraph girls havo been granted the privilege of taking part in the reception to the llororato men. "In making our humble effort to pay 'homage to those to whom we owe so much, wo would like you to knuw that wo do not forget tho men wht> havo already returned, to whom our debt is equally- as biff, • "AYhatcver. small tribute we can convey vro gratefully extend to you all, for although circumstances debarred us from giving you tho reception audi welcome home our hearts prompted, our appreciation and pride ere nevertheless deep and sincere."
