EASTBOURNE MAYORALTY
A deputation waited upon Mr. V, N. Mather yesterday afternoon ami presented him with a petition, signed by about 250 of tho ratepayers of Eastbourne, requesting him to allow himself to be nominated for the Mayoralty of Eastbourne' Borough and pledging him their hearty support. Mr. Mather thanked the deputation and said ho would consider the matter and give- an ans?for later.
