ANNUAL UNION OF GRAND-LODGE. By TelearaDh—Preos Association. Invercargill, March 18. The Independent Order of Oddfellows Grand Lodgo annual union opened today. Representatives were present from nil parts of tho Dominion. The balanco sheets find Teports disclosed a strong condition of affairs. During the war period tho consolidated funds increased by ,£20,000. Tho epidemic funeral claims total JJ2OHO, and tho war funeral claims ■£750(1. All the payments wore made without a lovy on members or drawing on the benefit funds. Tho session strongly protested against the withdrawal of Tailway concessions from friendly society conferences, especially as it was understood that theatrical companies and others still could obtain concessions.
