iOB ATTACK ON A RAILWAY STATION
SEQUEL TO PROMINENT DEPORTATIONS
London, March. 17. Tho riots occurred at Tanta (between Cai:o and Alexandria), in Egypt, and twenty persons were killed when several thousands attacked the'railway station. Tho riots were due to the deportation ot Raid Pasha Zaglonl, vice-president of tho Legislative Assembly, and the Nationalist lcader.-Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. A MESSAGE FROM CAIEO. Cairo, March 17. Tho riots followed the resignation of the Egyptian Premier and tho deportation of several leading Egyptian Nationalists, including two ex-Ministers, lour hundred arrests, were made.—Aus.-i\.4.
