At the Victoria Bowling green on Saturdav lust a verj pleasant and successfill reunion was held on tho occasion of- a match bet-won past and present members of tho club. Owing to tho arrival of tho Hororata. the match, originally set down to start at 2 p.m., was deferred until 3 o'clock, to enable members to take part in welcoming • our returning soldi.'rs. This necessitated shortening tho game from 21 to 10 heads. The "past: members'" teams, representative of most of the AVellingtoii clubs, were arranged bv Mr. '.". S. Mayor. During the oiteri\2o:i Drum-Major Colin Campbell and some of the Highland Pipe Band wore good enough to lend their assistance to the general success of tho day with tho inspiriting strains of the pipe's.
