CITY COUNCIL ELECTION
SOME OF THE CANDIDATES. Mr. H. D. Bennett will be a candidate for the City Council at next month's election. Others who have definitely decided to allow themselves to. be nominated for the council are: Messrs. Thos. Forsyth (chairman of the Wellington Education Board), J. E. .Tenkinson (ex-M.L.C.), and Prank Meadowcroft (chairman of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animnls). It is understood that at least ten of the present fifteen members of the council will offer themselves for re-election.
