While there aro at tho present time no 6igns of another influenza visitation, it is considered, in vieir of the second wave that has swept over Cither countries, that it is prudent that wo should be prepared for eventualities.' To this end thero will be held on AVedncisday next a meeting of the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board , and the local group managers, who ware active during the initial outbreak, when tho question will bo discussed, what preparatory steps shall be taken. The meeting will be held in the hospital board-room, Marion Street, at 2.30 p.m. on that day. AVHAT TO DO FOR NEWRALGIA. There are very few cases pf neuralgia that are not caused by a thin, run-down condition of tho blood. Almost the first thing the doctor looks for in neuralgic patients is the anaemic appearance. There are two things to do for any form of neuralgia. Apply heat to tho affected part 'to soothe the pain, and feed tiie nerves by taking a tonic containing the elements necked % them. Heat as afforded by hot flaiiyel, hot water bags, etc., lulls tho inflamed nerves into temporary quiet. It does not cure. Not until the nutrition of the nerves is restored will tho inflammation subside and the neuralgic state bo remedied. Never under any circumstances should drugs to deaden the pain be used. Dr. AVilliams' Pink Pills furnish to the blood the needed elements and the blood conveys them to the nerves. The only way of getting food or medicine to the nerves is through the blood. Remember that. Neuralgia is a general term. It means inflammatibn of a nerve. It is given different names according to the nerve affected. Sciatica is neuralgia of the sciatic nerve. Applications of heat will soothe the pain in all forms of neuralgia, and Dr. AVilliams" Pink Pills will correct the condition that causes it. ■ If you hayo neuralgia you can send to your dealer at once for a box of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. A useful booklet on "Diseases of the Nervous System" wili be sent free to any address !>y the Dr. AVilliams' "Medicine Co., Box 845, | G.P.0., AA'eliington.
