SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
An excellent concert was given at the Sailors' Friend Society by Mr. T. E. Jones. Those who contributed, items wore Mesdames P. and J. is, jind Misses M. Dimock, Peggy Jones, M. Lewis, and J. Lewis, and Messrs. J\ E. Jones, Morgan, and Owen (R.M.S. Rtapohu). Miss May''Lewis was tit the piano. The competitions caused much fun ' The prizes'oame from Ballance Street Mr. R. G. Denton spoke on the drink evil. Mr. Moore, missioner, who presided, moved votes of thanks, which were carried with much applause.
