■ By Telecratili—Press Association. Auckland, March 11.. The Congregational Union resolved to protest against the delay in the appoint) ments under the London Missionary Society. It was announced that Hears. H. J. Ralph and Thomas Southworth had passed their examinations. It was resolved, that univeraity passes in mental science and philosophy be recognised and the fees paid'to the union; that the surplus of the military fund be retained for the present year in view of the expenses of returned soldiers; that the military status of chaplains in the forces be recognised. It was announced that Mr. Kenneth Saunders was proceeding to Mansfield College to enter the Congregational ministry.
