Another of the so much enjoyed by tho sailors visiting the port was provided at thfc Brooklyn Baptist Schoolroom, under the auspices of the British and Foreign Sailors' Sooioty, Ihe arrangements being in the lmnds of tho Social Committee, assisted. ,)>y Mils M. Three tramway entertainers favoured tile sailors wilii general songs. Tho sailors' appreciation was manifested in the way they carried their vole of thanks. A short gospel address from the secretary of the Social Committee, and the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" brought a very enjoyable evening to a close. For the sake of those sailors wishing to spend I heir evening in a quieter way, tho rooms in Post Ollice Square were kept open as usual.
