At the annual meoting of the Talisman Gold-Mining Company there were sixteen shareholders present. Mr. Blanchard, the chairman, in moving the adoption of the report, remarked upon the high grade oro crushed last year, which averaged £9 per ton, which was well, in view of the increased cost of working and increased taxation. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Messrs. Blanchard and. Jackson were reappointed directors, and Messrs. Holmes and Morris vere re-elected auditors. Customs duties collected at the port ol Wellington yesterday amounted to £2236 13s. 10a.
