A total of 1977 sheep were penned, including a few pens of extra prime wethers and a big proportion of ewes. Extra prime heavy wethers realised late rates, but all . other classes inclined to be easier. Extra heavy wethers, 535. 9d,; prime heavy. 455. to' 18s. Gd.; prime, 4As. to 455.; medium and light, 355; to 38s. Gd.; extra prime heavy ewes, 41a. Gd.: prime, 355. to ,38s. (id.: medium, 32<j. to i)ss.; others, 20s. upwards. There were 590 lambs penned, exporters operating keenly at late limits. Extra prime heavy, 38s. 3d.; prime, 295. to 325. 6d.; medium, 245. to 275.; others, 15s. upwards.
