The Press Bureau reports that the Secretary of State for India announced that Nasrulla, the late Amir's brother, has been proclaimed Amir with the consent of the Jellalabncl notables, Inayatulla Khan, the Amir's eldest son, waiving his claims in his uncle's favour. Nasrulla's succession, however, is not recognised_ at; Kabul, where Amanulla, the late Amir's third son. has declared himself Amir, and assumed the reins of government.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
