THE DEPORTATION OF ENEMY ALIENS
Sir,—A recent cable message reports that the Imperial Government intend to deport all Huns from Britain, That's good news. But—what about the New Zealand Government and the Huns resident iu this country? Are we to sulrer the presence of these representatives of a soulless nation for ever? Have wo a "hidden hand" here? ■ Germany has done quite enough damage to civilisation, and any chance of repeating the dose should be provided against. If ever the Bolshevik element makes a move here, you will find that Huns here will join them, if indeed they are not already- .working quietly for them. Remember, Bolshevikism means bloodshed, and those who are responsible for nursing enemy aliens will be responsible for what may occur afterwards. Every man who-has a family nnd a homo to consider will remember at.elcction time who is sympathetic with the Tluu element, make no mistake about it. "Deportation for enemy subjects" must be ourVwar cry at the hustings.—l am, etc., • FIAT JUSTICA.
