BRITISH HEALTH BILL
PLANS FOE GREAT CAMPAIGN AGAINST DISEASE. . London, February 27. The new Health Bill, which has been lead a second time, collects the powers relating to public health, which are now dispersed among many Departments. Eighteen hundred local authorities are to be abolished. The plans of the Local Government Board, the Poor Law Guardians, and Insurance Commissioners -will be developed for a great campaign against disease. The Bill provides liberal funds for research;—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
