RUSSIAN BOLSHEVIKI
MILITARY PLANS FOR 1919
REVEALED IN CAPTURED DOCUMENTS By Telegraph-Press Aasociation-Copyrisht London, February 27. The Australian Press Association learns .that a captured document reveals the plans of the Russian Military Commission at Moscow for 1919. Recent Bolnhevik attacks show that these plans were carried out more or less successfully on several Russian, fronts, particularly in the Ukraine, though the plans for Esthonia and the Northern Cauoasus have thus far failed. Evidence is accumulating that the Bolshevik forces are.massing on the Archangel front, while on the Murmansk front the enemy has retired twenty miles, blowing' up a large quantity of stores. The Esthonians captured Arensburg, on Oesel Island. The Bolshevril definitely possess Kieff. Petlnra's force consists of about 40,000, but only 10,000 remain loyal.. Bolshevik forces are threatening the Isthmus of Perekop, giving access to the Crimea. The operations north of the Caucasus.have-ended in the defeat of the Bolshoviki. Forty thousand have been taken prisoner. Unimpeachable evidence has been obtained of wholesale atrocities committed by the Bolsheviki when they occupied Perm and Ekaterinburg.—Aus.< N.Z, Cable Assn.
