DISPUTE BETWEEN FIREMEN AND STEWABDS. By Tclesrraph—Press Association. Auckland, March -2. The Arahura did not sail for Gisborne on Saturday owing to a dispute between the firemen and stewards. The firemen object to two stewards, whose dismissal they demand on the ground that the two stewards axe impudent. The stewards object to another branch-of the crew dictating who shall be employed. The stewards will not remain on tie vessel if the men are discharged, and the firemen and seamen will not go to sea if they" are retained. The dispute is the outcome' of a fight on the previous Saturday, when a- trimmer and worsted by another steward, who left the ship voluntarily. ,
