FLOUR MILLS DISPUTE
BEFORE CONCILIATIOJS 7 COUNCIL. By- Telegraph—Press Association. Dune'din, Febniary 26. At the Conciliation Council to-day the. dispute between the Otago flour mills employees and employers was discussed. The principal matters in dispute were wages,-an increase of about sd. per hour on the average being asked, and the fixing of the hours of starting and leaving work. After discussion it was decided to adjourn the dispute until another confereiico was held in 'Cnristctarcli on the understanding that any agreement reached in Christchureli would apply to the whole of the Dominion. • The dispute was adjourned till Jlarcn 11 to enable the union to appoint an assessor to represent Dnnedin, Oaniaru, yid Canterbury at the Christchurch conference.
