LOYAL ADDRESS
ADOPTED BY PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY.

Tho concluding business at the Presbyterian General Assembly to-day was tho adoption of the following address to H Majesty the King, on the motion of Ih MociDratov.-"The General Assembly of the Pmbytenan Church ot jSow Zwland boss anew to tender to Hβ Majesty the King an expression of its profound loyalty to his throne and person and of its unbounded adnurfltion tor the lofty Christian example .which he and Her Majesty the Queen and tho other members of our ancient lioyal House L™t to tho nation during the recent years of unparalleled (rial. The steadfast confidence in God's heavenly wisdom and the strenuous self-sacrifice which have been so gloriously mam tested in the Palace have laid al! the.inhabitants of Hie Majesty's widespread lanpire under a debt of. gratitude winch cannot be altered. Rejoicing in the glorious victor> which the Almighty.has been pleaseMo L-rant the Allied nations against the out. llrcak of wickedness which so formidably menaced the world, the Assembly lienrtHγ and fervently prays that the King and his councillors, and alt the representative leaders of the nations allied mth.them. may have, that double measure of the Spirit of God which the pie, sent momentous crisis so urgently needs in order that the basis may be laid stroii" and immovable of a new world miitr" which shall manifest as never before the righteousness of peace and-joy in the Holy Ghost, wherein-consists the Kiivnloni of God. With full hearts, the General Assembly prays that our noble King and His Gracious Consort may be ioiiß spared to reign in the exaltation of righteousnese over an Empire invincible in its ■loyalty to our God and His Christ."
