LIEUT.-COLONEL RUTHERFORD ON TRIAL. London, February 19. At the trial of Lieutenant-Colonel Rutherford for tho shooting of Major Senton, Mrs. Rutherford's maid gave evidence that Rutherford, refused to allow men's photographs in the house. He was subject to outbreaks of unreasoning temper. A few days before Rutherford arrived from France his wife gave witness Major Seaton's photograph, which had been in her dressing-room, and told her to pnt it in witness's bedroom. Witness emphatically denied seeing any lmnropriety between Major Syatonand Mrs. }? ntherford.-A115.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
