REPATRIATION
NEW ZEALANDERS COMING HOME.
The number of members of the New Zea'and Expeditionary -Force returned to New Zealand up to the end of January was 33,510, including 1803 Samoans. Of these men, 25,943 have been discharged, and many of the others are on leave pending discharge. Several_ lnrge drafts liave reached New Zealand since the compilation of this return. ' A cablegram mentions that the number of men with the New Zealand Division on the Rhine has been reduced to 6000. The demobilisation is proceeding rapidly in spite of shipping shortages and interruptions, and it is expocted that the great bulk of the New Zealand troops will be home or on the water by. June. Air adequate force will represent New Zealand at the peace celebrations in London whenever the ceremonies take place. •
