i FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for variable breezes, but northerlies prevailing Bhortly and increasing strong to gale in and southward of Oook Strait, Warm and humid conditions may be expected, with increasing cloudiness and rain following generally. Barometer fall everywhere soon. Moderate west and south-west winds and oloudy and hazy conditions have ruled, with drizzling Bhowers at a few places. Atmospheric pressure has been unsteady. , 4 D. O.
