BLACKBALL TROUBLE
DOMINION DISPUTES COMMITTEE .' . .SET lIP,
The latest development of the Blackball dispute was discussed by the Coal Mine Owners' Association in meeting yesterday. ■ ' Advice was received at the meeting that the District Disputes Committee had arrived at no settlement, and three delegates were appointed to represent • the Mine Owners' Association on'the, National Disputes Committee. This procedure is in accordance with the agreement made .with the unions— that a local dispute should first be referred to a, local disputes committee, and that in the event,of disagreement the disputes should go before the National Disputes Committee. This committee is now being set .up.
