The members of tho AVar Expenses Branch and their friends have arranged | lo hold a picnic At Day's Bay 10-moiirow. Duffing lhe period of the war this Department was going at top speed, and, so could not benefit .by having a day off for social purposes; but now that the armistice has. been signed the urgent-necessity for-con-tinuous attendance at duty has not •been so keen, hence the opportunity of enjoyin" each other's company socially is being taken advantage of on l'riday. A' special boat has been chartered to convey the party, and leaves- the Ferry AAHiarf at 9.30 a.m.
