RAILWAYMEN'S DEMANDS
' INTERVIEW WITH THE MINISTER TO-DAY. The Grand Council of the New Zealand- 'Locomotive EuginedriverV-, Firemen, and Cleaners' Association held a special meeting in Wellington yesterday to discuss matters in connection with the demands for increase in pay and improved working conditions. Mr. E. W. Henderson, of Ghristchurch, president of the association, was in the chair. The proceedings wero not open to tho Press. The interview with the Minister takes place to-day.
