Two doiiths are reported from influenza. —Press Assn. Brisbane, February 8. A special regulation has been issued empowering the Government to quarantine all vessels arriving from ports outside of Queensland.—Press Assn. Sydney, February 8. Ten new oases of influenza are reported, making a total of 81. A proclamation prohibits meetings and religious service* in the open air.—Press Assn. t (Rec. February 10, 0.30 a.m.) Sydney, February 9. A sensation was created in the city tonight by the report that a. number of troops from the transport Argyllshire had broken quarantine, and several arrests been made. It appears that the .men wore bitter against the Federal authorities bungling in landing twelve, hundred men ot Melbourne, instead of coming direct to Sydney, resulting in the necessity for quarantining here. It is also, reported that a case of influenza, has developed on board since leaving Melbourne.—Press Assn.-
