Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—We conducted a successful clearing sale on account of Mr. P. A. Gillies, at Te Horo, on Wednesday last. Thcro was a large attendance o£ buyers from various parts of the district, and bidding was very keen. Prices were as follow:—Fat and forward bullocks, £16 2s. to £16 Bs.; cows and calves, £15; two and a halfyear steers, £8 55.;. niixed-6ox eighteenmonth cattlc, £6 45.; fat cows, £11 Is.: , dairy cows in milk, £10 12s. fid. to # £13 10s.; dairy heifers in calf, £9 65.; pedigree Shorthorn bull, 27gns.j fat sheep, 295. id. .to 305..1 d,; two-tooth owes, Ms. Id.; mixed 'two-tooths, 16s. to 255.; tivo-tooth wethers, 235. 10d.'; four-tooth wethers,' 235. 9d.; ; draught horses, £26, £26.10 a., to £30; trap mare, £12. Implements and .sundries also nold 'at'.satisfactory At-Levin on Tuesday lasi we had a good yarding of sheep and cattlo, which was submitted to a representative attendance of buyers. Bidding was not spirited, but t.ho bulk of tho entry changed hands at tho following prices:—Fat ewes, 255. 2d. to 295. 6d.; fat two-tooths, 275.; fat lambs, 235. to 245. 6a.; forward ewes, 20s.
