M'Mahon's entry, 657 yds. per min., 2; AV.' and L: Booth's entry, 646 yds. per min., 3. Timaru, air-lino distance 290 miles: W. J. Smith's Curiosity, 1076 yds. per min., 1; G. Whitehead's Bulwark, 9!)Byds. per niin., 2. These were the only lofts homo in the Lyttelton, No. 3, airlino distance 201 miles: W. and: L., Booth's Gem, 987 yds. per min., 1; G.' Whitehead's Bulwark, 986 yds. per min., 2;' W.' J. Smith's Curiosity, 985 yds. per min., 3. Dunedin, air-line distance 390 miles-G. Whitehead's Nor'-West, 1258.8 yds. per. min'., 1; W. and L. Booth's Gem, 1258.7 yd?. per min., 2; W. J. Smith's Curiosity, 1256 yds. per min., 3. Invercargill, air-line distance 492 miles: G. Whitehead's Monitor, 742 yds. per min., 1. ' This race was flown in very rough -weather, and only ono loft timed in -within the limit. In the average velocity for old-bird races, G. Whitehead is first, with an average of 857 yds. per min.; W. .T. Smith second, with 732 yds. per min.; AV. and L. Booth third, with GB2yds. per min.;. E. M'Mahon fourth, with 555 yds. per 'min. League Competition.—G. AV. Whitehead, seven wins, 1; AV. J. Smith; five wins, 2; E. M'Mahon and AV. and L. Booth, four wins each, 3.
