ADDINGTON MARKET
By Telegraph—Press Association Christchurch, February 5. At Addington market the yarding of stock in almost nil departments was larger than last week, especially in store sheep. There was an improved demand for the bo/ler classes of lambs, and prices were a full 2,5. per htad in advance of the previous week's rates. This was partly duo to. an improvement in quality. Wethers .mid ewes showed practically no change. Lambs wore firm at late rates, and fat sheep, which were in short supply, sold mostly above freezing values. Thero was a decline in fat cattle, and exporters wero able to purchase more than at any previous sale this season. Store cattle were slower of sale, •the quality being mostly moderate. Included in the yarding were between fifty and sixty bulls, and they were all bought by exporters. Springing dairy cows were in demand, and pigs were rather easier.
