HOW THE MISHAP OCCURRED. By Tejegraph-Press Association. Auckland, February 5. Five members of the crew of the 6team. e.- Wairoa, which ran ashore on Tairua bar on Monday, arrived at Auckland today. They stated that as supplies wera running short they went into Tairua for flour. There was a heavy (sea running at the time, but they managed to reach their destination. While returning they got into the trough of the sea, and broke the rudder chain, with the result that the vessel piled up. At low water the vessel is dry, but she immediately fills up at high water. The owners of the vessel are to leave this evening to see if there is any possibility of salving tlis vessel.
