The-recent; epidemic interfered very seriously with tlie work of the Trentham Dominion Art Union, which, was started for the purpose of raising funds to educate the children of soldiers and sailors who have served and suffered in this war. It has therefore been necessary to extend the time for the closing of this art union, and the Minister of Internal Affairs has granted an extension to a date which will hi announced later. The Committee has now got properly to work again, and tickets are on, sale in most shops. A large announcement _ with full list of jttizes appears in this issue.'
