The- brochure mate 'no pretence to.be exhaustive.'-'lt is' just a bright, crisp "little description of ' the "windy city of the strait," in which the writer: "neither extenuates no sets . down ou?lit; in malice." It does not savour in tho -Ip.ast degree of "boost," as is the manner of many of such publications,' but in'plain cryptic phrases gives a very truthful and accurate view of what Mr. Wilson happily torms ''the' corner shop" —the place where everyone must call'at timo or other- if. they-wish•• .to.' do business in New Zenlahd, and who, in-' oidentally, may gamble upon being vitalised by the 'experience.'
