THE KAROM-CLUB. To-morrow afternoon tho TCarori Club will h're its annual inntch for the Johnston Memorial Cup. The cup was presented to the «lub in 191-1 by tlio lain Brigadier-General '¥. E. Johnston, who was killed in action while serving wi L 'i the Expeditionary Forces in France. It is the fourth trophy of its kind donated by tho late Brigadier-General, tho first having been won outright by Rflmn. J. Burns in 1910, the second by Rflmn. G. Ifalliday in 1912, and the third by Rflmn. H. V. Croxton in 19H. The present cup has been competed for on only ono previous occasion, namely, in 1915, wlien Rllmn. J. Cox (now with the Expeditionary Forces in Europe) registered the first win. The competition has.not siiwc been carried out, biit is now being renewed under revised conditions, tho privilege of winning the cup outright having been withdrawn in order that the competition may be established as a permanent memorial to the donor. Winners each year will piin outright a miniature cup presented by tho club. For the. purpose of to-niorrow'e competition ,i trophy has been awarded by Mr. T. Ilmi for the runner-up, and club trophies have been allotted for the third higliest scorer and for the first and second highest scorers among the ■handicap clasa,
