The nidnthly meoting of 'he Wellington Education Board was held yesterday. There wufe present Messrs. Thos. Forsyth (chairman), K M'C.'illiim, M.P., E II Penny, A. W. Hogg, It. A. Wright, M.I 1 ' W. H. Field. M.1 , ., J. J. Clark, T. Moss, ,T. P. Shand. E. P. Kishworth, C. J. Harkness, and G. London. The financial statement covering Hit period iiip to January 25 showed tlmt the receipts since last meeting were t C30,37.'i 2s. sd. The general payments for December and January totalled .£11,582 IBs. 'Id. Tho cash in the bank on current account was .£11,615 19s. Gd., whilst the January salaries, now due, approximated £11,001). . . The appointment of an agricultural instructor has been held 6v3r until next i meeting.
