" REGARDED AS OVER. The Governor-General has received from the Governor of Fiji ,a cablegram dated January 27, as follows:—'No fresh cases influenza at Suva since December 28, Levulca December 26, and Lautoka January 27, and country .districts rapidly clearing.' Precautions being, taken against recrudescence, but epidenup may be regarded as over, and medical relief parties from Australia and New Zealand are leaving thisjiveek." A. report presented to the Hospital Board to-day showed the cost of the influenza epidemic in this district to be £14,263, including: Temporary hospitals, motor and ambulance service, ,£2810; inhalation chambers, .£769.
